A Beautiful and Violent Place
The film follows a man, recently released from prison, as he scours rural Kansas on a mission of violent revenge. Released just after the 2016 election, he discovers the America he once knew is gone.
Location Manager
The director of this film was a graduate student from The London Film School. He and his fellow filmmakers came to rural Kansas to take advantage of the vast landscapes. The cast and crew were complied of people from the Midwest, East/West Coast, and across the pond. This was my first opportunity to work with creatives from another country. As the location manager, it was my job to find environments that communicated the director's vision; often working with people who had never been to Kansas before.
